Great earphones but no English manual, but don't despair
from on 4/09/2016
DESPITE not being able to find an English manual I have it working and it works very much to my satisfaction. What I have discovered is included below.

This handy little unit has a lot of features that I haven't been able to explore because I can't read Mandarin. Fortunately, I have a Mandarin speaking friend so I will be able to translate the manual eventually and report back.

What I have discovered to date - The device talks to you so put it in your ear before doing anything.
To toggle between on and off hold the middle button down for 3 seconds.
To change the language press the middle button and + key simultaneously for 3 seconds.
To make a new bluetooth connection:
Turn Joway on. It it isn't paired it will say "Pairing", flash a little blue light and light the (-) button red (There are some nuances here I haven't determined)
Get other device to scan for Bluetooth devices - very dependent on other device but in general get it to turn on bluetooth and have a look at devices it can see
Hold (-) button on Joway down (it has a flashing blue light next to it and will probably be shining red) (Important to do this before the next step)
Instruct the other device to pair.
Joway will say "Pairing Successful". The blue light flashes slowly when it is connected and the power is on.

From here it just works -- connects when it can and receives audio from the other device. To stop receiving audio, turn the Joway off, this will pause the audio app on your device if it is written correctly.

To charge - plug the USB cable into the side. It will power off (PS this is a good reason to not try to learn how to use it while it is plugged in, as I did!) and shine red on the (-) key. The button will stop shining when it is fully charged.

Short presses on the (+) and (-) keys change tracks, I think - still exploring. The middle key is called DIAL but how you use it to dial is a mystery - entering the phone number seems unlikely. Haven't tested the microphone and receiving calls yet.
