How to Install a Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Our number one question after "Do you sell glass screen protectors?" is "How do I install my glass screen protector?" - so we've done a video showing you exactly what to expect when you purchase a Glass screen protector, and the tips and tricks on how to install it easily and quickly.

Our top 5 tips

Tempered Glass screen protectors are super simple to install - if you've done it before. If you haven't here's our Top 5 tips on how to do it right the first time.

  1. Make sure the area for your screen protector installation is dust and dirt free
  2. Before you prep your phone, get the glass screen protector and make sure you're comfortable on where it's supposed to line up on the phone.
  3. Don't rush! Take your time. It's not a race. Take your time preparing your phones screen and make sure it's 100% dirt, dust and smudge free.
The included alcohol wipes will quickly allow you to easily remove bits of dust, oil and whatever else is caked onto your screen.
  4. Once you've cleaned your screen, remove the protector layer on the screen protector. Be sure not to touch the adhesive side you just exposed.
Keep it face down as to not attract any dust, and line it up over your phone. gently place on and align before adding pressure. Then just put pressure in the middle and watch the screen adhere itself!
  5. Once the screen is on, with a tissue or microfibre cloth gently rub down all edges of the screen protector, and push out any bubbles.
Try to leave your phone alone for an hour or so and let the screen adhere. give it another rub around the edges and you're done!

The Top 5 Best Gadgets to keep your kids entertained

Read entire post: The Top 5 Best Gadgets to keep your kids entertained

We've had alot of questions about what gadgets are good at keeping the kids entertained during holidays, car trips and just day to day when you're on the go.

We've scoured our site, and even brought in a few new products to put together this list.

Without further ado, here's our top 5 Gadgets for keeping the kids entertained. (queue tv show Top 5 List music now..)

Number 1: Keeping the kids entertained in the back seat - Car Seat Headrest Mounts.

Kids are great, but when you're in the car for more than 10 minutes, the kids get antsy.

These Car seat headrest mounts clip to the back side of the driver or passenger seat, and hold a large phone or tablet.
Perfect for putting on an educational game, playing the wiggles, a tv show, or some youtube videos to keep them entertained.

For the budget conscious the Universal Headrest Mount is an easy option. Clip it on, put in your tablet and you're good to go.

At under $20, this is a no brainer for some quick and easy sanity on those long drives.

Don't let the features fool you, this is a workhorse and under $50.

Number 2: Entertaining the kids while they're in the Stroller/Pram.

Have you ever been out doing the groceries with the little one in the stroller and NOTHING is working. Little hands are pulling things off shelves left and right, little legs are kicking innocent shoppers (Sorry!).

You understand though, they're bored. You've tried a snack, "Hey, here's a little toy!" Nope, how about your favourite book? Mummy's iPhone? Ah yes, we have a winner....
But with this winner comes inherant problems - "Hold it like this", "No don't drop it!", "Ok, i'll start it up again but don't touch the home button....".

Introducing your savour.. The Metal Snake flexible Smartphone holder for desks, bedside tables, and umm prams.

$19  for a quiet trip to do the shopping? Yes please!

This little holder keeps your phone in front of your little terror angel, and away from harm. Or bend it upwards so you can see your phones shopping list.
Takes most phones with their cases up to a screen size of approx 6.5".
The clip mounting mechanism makes it easy to attach and detach when you're not using it - or take it into the kitchen or bedroom for a handsfree solution.

Number 3: Colourful Rubber Bands  Loombands!

We called them rubber bands back in my day... but nowadays kids go nutso over these little coloured Loomband kits.

Recommended for ages 8 and up, they're for your older munchkins - and they're guaranteed to provide hours of fun.
Perfect for those trips away, when you want them to have some downtime from their iPads and TV.

Number 4: Exogear Exocharge Car Charge - No it's not a play toy...

It's one thing to give your kids your phone or tablet while you're on those long drives to keep them entertained on your journey...
It's another to have said "pacifiers" run out of juice half way through.

Enter the Exocharge. Boasting 3 charging ports, with 2 ports rated for high output (needed for tablets) the Exogear Exocharge is sure to keep those devices up and running during the journey, and make sure they're fully charged by the time you reach your destination.

At just over $20, this charger will keep your devices charged, your kids entertained, and your sanity in check.

Number 5: Smartphone compatible Selfie Stick

The Selfie Stick needs no explanation - but here goes... Basically you clamp in your phone to the clamp, plug in the cable, extend the stick and start snapping.

No more asking strangers to take a photo of you and your family, it's seriously plug and play and helps capture those holiday memories.
This model doesn't need power, so you don't have to worry about charging it up.
