Yes, it does fit my iPad Air and the wife's iPad mini. I've also tried the nexus 7 and Nexus 9 and both. Just in case you're wondering.

tried putting it my car and it broke. visited the guys at the shop, and they provided a replacement (for a cheaper price) and even fitted it for me. turns out i just didn't put it on right.
Has been 2 months and it's still working well. makes travelling alot quieter now with the kids entertained in the back.
If you're anywhere in Sydney, drop in to the shop and they'll fit it for free! great service.

Looking forward to our road trip with this now in the car. Easy to put together/set up.
