When I cracked the screen on my first apple watch, for it's replacement I bought these. I didn't know if the touch functions would work through the cover, but they do. They clip on and off easily and I take mine off when I swim. They can hook on something and come off, but not easily. I've lost one.Works well.

After smashing my first watch on the pool wall, I bought these to protect the next one. I've had them over a year they work just like it says on the box. They remain clear, don't warp, don't soften, don't seem to unclip without serious effort. Have had no trouble with touch control. Only aspect is they are thick enough to catch ocassionally, but they are noisy when they fall so found it (mostly, there is 3 to the pack so I've lost two over the year or so:). About to order another set.
