I needed a replacement for a similar product that I've had for many years. I use it for holding an ipad at a suitable height for reading which sitting in a recliner. It is good except for being a bit shaky when I type or press anything on the ipad. My old stand was sturdier and did not shake. Would work better for watching a video or anything not involving much contact.
