Support Notes
- Check your Apple computer supports audio output via Mini DisplayPort.
- MacOS setup instructions:
- plug-in adapter.
- open Sound (in System Preferences).
- select your Audio output device.
- Note -- Apple released MacBook Pro models after April 2010 with audio output via the Mini DisplayPort.
- MacBooks purchased prior to April 2010 do not transmit audio (via the Mini DisplayPort).
- use a 3.5mm audio jack cable instead.
- HDMI cable (sold separately).
