Takes no time to set up at all. Just plug in as per instructions and my Chromecast now works much better. Also seems to have improved the speed of my other WiFi devices being used in the same area of my house. Highly recommended if you have a spare Ethernet port nearby. I had to sacrifice the blu ray player for it but that's only needed for firmware updates.
